Report: Venezuela buys Russian oil for re-export to Cuba
MOSCOW, Jan 30 (PRIME) -- Venezuelan oil company PDVSA has purchased several batches of the Urals oil blend for re-exports to Cuba at a subsidized tariff, Bloomberg reported late Monday citing sources familiar with the situation.
The oil was delivered to the island of Curacao, where PDVSA’s oil storages are located, sources said.
PDVSA is importing Russian oil to Cuba amid a fall in the domestic production and inability to supply its own medium gravity crude.
